Speyside Single Malt Trail
Three working distilleries in the malt-whisky heartland, tastings included throughout.
Visit the Lowland home of Johnnie Walker, with a guided distillery tour and whisky tasting while we take care of the driving, with Drive Me Wild Scotland.
Whisky lovers, this one is for you. Glenkinchie is a Lowland distillery in the East Lothian countryside, and the lowland home of Johnnie Walker. Join our small-group half-day tour from Edinburgh and let us do the driving, so you can relax and enjoy your whisky. Choose between a simple return transfer if you have already booked your visit, or the full Flavour Journey experience, a guided tour of the distillery that finishes with a tasting of three drams. Either way, you travel in comfort with a friendly local driver, and we take you straight to the distillery and back.
Departure: Edinburgh to Glenkinchie
We meet at our central Edinburgh pickup point and travel by minibus to the East Lothian countryside. [Add any commentary or scenic stops on the way.]
At the distillery: Glenkinchie
If you have chosen the Flavour Journey, you join a guided tour of the distillery to see how Lowland whisky is made, finishing with a tasting of three drams. If you have chosen the transfer only, your time at the distillery is your own, for your own booked tour or visit. [Add the time at the distillery.]
Return: Back to Edinburgh
We return you to the same central point in Edinburgh at approximately [your time].
Note: the Flavour Journey tour has its own fixed time slot, so please arrive on time.

Our driver-guide was exceptional! Travelling in a small executive group meant we could pull in at secluded Highland viewpoints the big 50-seater coaches couldn't reach. The local folklore through Glencoe made Scotland truly come alive.
A truly five-star experience from start to finish. The pace was relaxed and unhurried with ample time for photographs, lochside walks, and an authentic village lunch. Drive Me Wild Scotland exceeded every expectation!
First time exploring Scotland, and this tour made the whole trip unforgettable. Having an authentic Scottish driver-guide sharing personal stories and deep clan history made every mile fascinating. Spotless Mercedes mini-coach!
The scenery was breathtaking, and the small group atmosphere felt so welcoming. Our driver knew exactly where to stop for panoramic photos away from the crowds and gave great recommendations for the rest of our holiday.
From the prompt city departure to the scenic evening return, everything was seamlessly managed. Warm Scottish hospitality, executive seating with massive panoramic windows, and brilliant storytelling. Outstanding tour!
